The purpose of this role is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate knowledge translation strategies to make inclusion practices and strategies easily available and accessible to recreation decision-makers and practitioners.
The Community, Recreation Inclusion & Access Coordinator will build relationships and collaborative networks with relevant partner groups to enhance and support the implementation of use of research evidence and support partner organizations in their adoption and implementation of inclusion and accessibility practices.

The fifth Atlantic Recreation & Facilities Conference (ARFC) will be held on May 29-31, 2024 at the Delta Hotel in Fredericton, NB. This year’s theme is: ‘Adapt and Elevate’. As always, the Atlantic Recreation and Facilities Conference is brought to you in partnership by Recreation PEI, Recreation Nova Scotia, Recreation Facility Association of Nova Scotia, Recreation NB | Loisirs N.-B. and Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador.
This exciting Atlantic gathering dedicated to Recreation and Facilities will have keynote speakers, sessions and roundtables focusing on professional development and growth, a trade show focused on programming and purchasing opportunities, along with social events – creating opportunities for collaboration and networking.
