Trail Maintenance Workshops with Hike NS

Hike Nova Scotia is hosting a series of one-day trail maintenance workshops to be held across the province this year. The aim is to support hiking trail managers, especially in areas hardest hit by Hurricane Fiona.

Sessions will focus on basic trail design and building with ongoing maintenance and repairs in mind. Most workshops will combine formal classroom-style teaching and hands-on in-field training.

2023 schedule includes:
May 7 in Pugwash
May 13 in Antigonish
May 27 in the Town of Pictou
June 10 in Sydney
Oct. 28 in Musquodoboit Harbour
